Albert Hall has been in touch to say how delighted the members of his band were with the reception they received for their concert in the Jubilee Hall on April 5th. There was a good audience for the event and it seemed as though everyone had a good time.
The band encourages new members and the proceeds from the evening will be a welcome top up to band funds, for purchase and maintenance of instruments and travel costs.
Several people have said that they would like more music events in the hall and the organisers were encouraged by the response to the Albert Hall Showband concert, so watch this space! Ideas being considered are a New Orleans/Dixieland Jazz evening and the return of the renowned acoustic blues musician, Jim Crawford.
