If you haven’t already heard, Paula Swanson and Julie Whitton thrashed Swimbridge fellas in the Swimbridge Wheelbarrow Beer Race on Boxing Day with, it has to be said, 2.5 minutes spare time! In “girlie” speak we could have polished our nails and dried them in the time it took the fellas to catch up! In 2nd place was Ross Cannon & friend and in 3rd place Toby Hall & Yves Clarke. This was followed by a very wet tug of war over the stream.
