There have been several reports of empty cider bottles in the river and along Hannaford Lane. As many as two a day are being collected from the river alone and a large number of empty cans have been discarded in the hedgerows along Hannaford Lane.
To whomever this concerns, PLEASE take your litter home – the cans and bottles are a danger to wildlife, it makes the village look untidy and it’s not fair to expect someone else to pick up your litter.
