The Streamside community garden project in the Churchyard is progress- ing well, but with lots of hoops to negotiate with the National Lottery to secure the funding. We have already received funding for Stage 1 for the consultation and planning.
The next stage is to obtain Planning Consent but before making an applica- tion we are holding a final commu- nity consultation. This will be a short evening presentation and ques- tion and ideas opportunity. We will have our landscape architect, Pete Lever, to show some new ideas. If we are to achieve funding we need to have lots of people at this event. It will be great if we can have 20-25 people there to prove to the Lottery trustees that we are all behind the project.
