Get your entry forms and take part in the spectacular SWIMBRIDGE RUN on Sunday 19th April
10.30 am—Main Run approx 5 miles (min age 15 yrs)
11.00 am—Fun Fun — approx 2 miles (8—14 yrs)
Runners of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part either in the 5 mile run from 10.30 am or the 2 mile fun run from 11 am.
The 5 mile run is a PICTURESQUE ROUTE up and over Devon hills, part road, part track, stream crossings, woodland paths and stunning views via the old silver mines and Daffodil Valley passing through the picturesque hamlets of Hannaford and Hearson. Entries received before 13th April is £6 per person. Thereafter and on the day the entry fee is £8. The categories for the main run is overall runner—15 yrs+ (M&F), Veteran 40+ (M&F), Veteran 50+ (M&F).
THE FUN RUN to Hannaford and back is aimed at 8—14 year olds. The entry fee is £3.50 (£5.50 after 13th April). The categories for the Fun Run are 8—11 years (M&F), and 12—14 years (M&F). There is also a trophy for the best fancy dress.
St Johns Garden Centre are donating vouchers to the winners and trophies have been kindly sponsored by Gasmark, SDS Construction, Jack Russell Inn, Looking Good, Mike Ackland Motors, Blue Gallery, Sandyke Farm Dairies, Geoffrey & Kirsty Everett-Brown and John & Barbara Ackland. All winners will also receive a medal.
