Local Elections: your council needs you and your vote.

Get involved in the forthcoming Parish Council elections and help your local community. Now is the time to ensure that your name is on the Electoral Register so that you can support your community and vote on 5th May. It’s your right to vote so don’t miss out.

Why not become a Parish Councillor? The new localism agenda will give Parish Councils more and exciting powers to shape and benefit the future of the community, why not join the team and help make a positive difference. Parish Councils depend on local people from all walks of life taking an interest in what happens in their community, and local people standing as councillors can bring a wealth of knowledge and community understanding into the local team.

On Tuesday 22nd March from 6 — 8.30 pm in the Jubilee Hall, the Parish Council is holding an open evening to provide information and advice to anyone interesting in becoming a Parish Councillor. Come along and see how easy it is to stand for election.
