The new localism agenda will give Parish Councils more and exciting powers to shape and benefit the future of the community, why not join the team and help make a positive difference. Parish Councils depend on local people from all walks of life taking an interest in what happens in their community, and local people standing as councillors can bring a wealth of knowledge and community understanding into the local team.
On Tuesday 22nd March from 6 — 8.30 pm in the Jubilee Hall, the Parish Council is holding an open evening to provide information and advice to anyone interesting in becoming a Parish Councillor. Come along and see how easy it is to stand for election.
