SWIMBRIDGE NEEDS A PARK … IT WILL HAPPEN but it needs an active group of people to keep up the pressure. A strong, united and committed campaign group needs to continue to ensure we don’t end up with a token swing & slide on a tiny piece of land just slotted in somewhere. To get what we want it is important for us to campaign to gain an open green space for our village.
IF YOU WANT THE PARK TO HAPPEN, COME TO THE MEETING.
The Committee needs new blood – many of the existing Committee have been on it a long time and we would like new people to come and join us. It is easy for us to sit in an armchair and say it will never happen or to blame one another as to why it hasn’t happened yet – but if we do, it won’t! Instead let’s get together as a united team and make it happen. We have choices – it is up to us all. If you want Swimbridge to have a park, come to the meeting – it’s only for a couple of hours. Ian Godfrey unfortunately is resigning as Chairman as he and Rosie have their house up for sale. LATEST park news is District is waiting for another set of plans from the Developers and will advise us as soon as plans have been submitted. If this doesn’t happen, there is a possible alternative – let’s make it happen. It is up to us all.
All welcome – please come along and give your support.
