Good news! The planning application for the new community open space alongside the stream and Church yard has been submitted to North Devon District Council.
The plans follow the ideas previously discussed in the village to provide an attractive space for all to use and enjoy. You can see the plans online through the NDDC website; www.northdevon.gov.uk. The planning application number is 50549. They are also still on view in St James Church and the Old School Room.
The consultation period for planning is until 30th July. Funding through the Lottery and local councils is being progressed and there are still some hurdles to jump but the Church hope with some help from local volunteers to be able to get on with the project as soon as possible.
